FAIRFAX, VA — Today, Independent Women’s Voice celebrates Congressional Candidate for Virginia’s 11th district Stewart Whitson for his Stand With Women Commitment and support for legislation that preserves women’s equal opportunities and single-sex spaces, which would fortify the definitions of sex-based terms, like “woman” and “man” used in state law.
By signing Independent Women’s Voice’s Stand With Women Commitment, Whitson promises “to uphold laws that preserve female opportunities and private spaces.”
