RICHMOND, VA — Today, Independent Women’s Voice celebrates Virginia Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle-Sears for her Stand With Women Commitment and support for legislation that preserves women’s equal opportunities and single-sex spaces, which would fortify the definitions of sex-based terms, like “woman” and “man” used in state law.
By signing Independent Women’s Voice’s Stand With Women Commitment, Lt. Governor Winsome Earle-Sears promises “to uphold laws that preserve female opportunities and private spaces.”
Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle-Sears, candidate for Governor of Virginia, said:
