WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Independent Women’s Center for Energy and Conservation issued the following response to the looming government shutdown and the need for Congress to pass a clean Continuing Resolution to achieve American energy dominance.
Gabriella Hoffman, director of Independent Women’s Center for Energy and Conservation, said:
“It’s imperative to keep the government operating beyond September 30th to meet our nation’s energy and conservation priorities. Playing politics here will undermine our energy abundance goals by stalling energy projects on federal lands and inviting permitting delays. Democrats must join Republicans to help keep the lights on – figuratively and literally.”
