Meredith May is a Media Relations Coordinator at Independent Women, where she supports the communications team through press releases, op-ed placements, and media outreach to expand organizational awareness.
Before joining Independent Women, Meredith worked at a digital marketing firm, helping clients strengthen membership retention, attract new supporters, and build cohesive messaging strategies. She also has extensive campaign experience across Virginia, where she contributed to the election of strong candidates at every level of the ballot.
Meredith earned her bachelor’s degree in Government, with a minor in History, from Liberty University. While there, she served as president of both the College Republicans and Young Americans for Freedom chapters, gaining hands-on grassroots experience and leadership skills.
In her free time, Meredith enjoys running, spending time with family and friends, and traveling with her husband and their black lab mix, Bonk. She’s also an avid reader who never passes up a good thriller.
